Screenshot #1:   The shell Installation of Comodo AntiVirus 2011 displays a series of prompts before it downloads and installs the software. Users who breeze past this installation screen may not notice they've signed on to a 60-day trial of GeekBuddy, Comodo's commercial online PC helpdesk application.

Screenshot #2:   Comodo sandboxes any applications it doesn't recognize, including the popular Twitter application TweetDeck. Users must go into the Comodo Sandbox and manually elevate all applications to Trusted status in order for them to run unimpeded.

Screenshot #3:   The Comodo Dashboard is the starting point for initiating a full system scan, configuring security settings and scan options, and accessing advanced features of Comodo's free antivirus program. It also displays a detailed report on the current security status of the machine, including the number of infected files found and the number of application that have been Sandboxed.

Screenshot #4:   The Running Scan screen in Comodo is a simple readout of the number of files scanned, time taken, and number of threats found. The Help link produces a Web page that explains the scanning process in detail.

Screen Shot #5:   The Behavior Settings dialog controls scanning behavior for real-time scans, manual scans, and scheduled scans. Users can also specify excluded files or directories.

Screenshot #6:   The Trusted Sites list contains those applications that have been explicitly white-listed by the user. Comodo may flag a number of harmless applications as unknown and untrusted, forcing users to train the software to recognize them.
